Havelock Islands


Premium scuba diving and snorkeling are the highlights of the gorgeous Havelock Island, the most popular of the Andaman Islands. Vanxim


Vanxim or Vanusim is an island of Goa situated in the Ilhas region. One can reach here by taking a ferry from Divar. The colonial name for Vanxim was Capão. One may see a lot of houses with few villagers many of whom are fisher-folk in the area.

Parumala Island


Parumala is a small village and island on the Pampa River in Pathanamthitta district in Kerala, India.

Parumala is renowned for the presence of the Tomb of St. Gregorios (Parumala Thirumeni), belonging to the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church and Syriac Orthodox Church, so it is a pilgrimage site.The annual feast Ormapperunnal is held at the Parumala Church annually on the first and second of November.

Quibble Island


Quibble Island is a river island in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. It is formed by the Adyar River and one of its tributaries. It is situated between the Chennai neighbourhoods of Mylapore and Adyar. During British rule, a European cemetery was located here.

Nicobar pigeon


The Nicobar pigeon (Caloenas nicobarica) is a pigeon found on small islands and in coastal regions from the Nicobar Islands, east through the Malay Archipelago, to the Solomons and Palau. It is the only living member of the genus Caloenas and the closest living relative of the extinct dodo.

St Mary’s Islands Karnataka

St Mary’s is a set of four small islands in India. Quite similarly to Giant’s Causeway in Ireland, these islands are famous for their basaltic rock formations cut into a peculiar hexagonal shape. The rocky beach and clear blue water make these islands a must visit. This island in India is still unknown to a large number of people.
Best time to visit: December – January
How to reach: Only way to reach this island is to take a boat from Malpe, Karnataka. The ride is roughly 15 mins and costs about Rs 500 for a round trip.
Places to see: Coconut gardens and basaltic rock formations
Where to stay: Unfortunately there are no accommodation facilities on this empty island in India. However, you can make your arrangements on the Malpe, nothing like it.
Things to do: A few selfies and group pictures on this extraordinary rock formations are requisite
Tip: Carry your own food and beverage since there is no refreshment facility available on the islands.

Great Andaman

Great Andaman is the main archipelago of the Andaman Islands of India. It comprises five major islands. From north to south, these are North Andaman, Middle Andaman, South Andaman, Baratang and Rutland Island. The three northern islands are the largest of the entire island group, and the islands' capital, Port Blair, also lies in the archipelago.
Great Andaman is often considered the counterpart to Little Andaman, another island in the Andamans.
The Andaman islands consist of two groups i.e.Great Andaman and Little Nicobar. Narrow creeks separate the Great Andaman into North Andaman, Middle Andaman and South Andaman. The Andaman islands form a chain of islands extending from north to south. All these islands are in the form of peaks of a submerged mountain chain. Shivanasamudra Waterfalls


Shivanasamudra Waterfalls is located 85 kms away from Mysore. Shivanasamudra is an island town that divides River Cauvery into two falls. The two falls are named Gaganachukki Falls and Bharachukki Falls. Rated among the top 100 waterfalls all over the world, these falls offer spectacular view.
